7 Healthy Sandwiches & Wraps

Smoked Salmon Wraps

Ingredients:

  • 2 large tortillas (whole-wheat/corn/flour)
  • 1/4 cup whipped light cream cheese
  • 2 oz. smoked salmon

Instructions:

  • Take half of the cream cheese and spread it evenly between the two tortillas.

Turkey and Avocado Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 6 inch baguette, cut in half
  • ½ – 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tablespoons sun-dried tomato pesto
  • 6 turkey slices
  • ¼ avocado, sliced
  • Crispy Clover and Alfalfa Blend Rä Wild About Sprouts™

Instructions:

  • First, toast each half of the baguette.
  • Then, spread mayonnaise on the top half of the baguette and the sun-dried tomato pesto on the bottom half.
  • Add the turkey, avocado, and Crispy Clover and Alfalfa Blend Rä Wild About Sprouts™.

California Club Panini

Ingredients:

  • 3 slices bread (any kind)
  • 4 slices Pepper Jack Cheese
  • 3 slices Ham
  • 3 slices Turkey
  • 3 slices Bacon, cooked
  • ½ Avocado, sliced
  • ½ Tomato, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • Crunchy Clover Rä Wild About Sprouts™

Instructions:

  • Heat a non-stick pan on low to medium.
  • Butter the first slice of bread on both sides and place it in the heated pan.
  • Add two slices of pepper jack cheese, place turkey on top of the cheese, followed by ham on the other slice.
  • Grill both halves of bread in the pan, buttered-side down, and cook until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Finish by spreading mayo and adding Crunchy Clover Rä Wild About Sprouts™, tomato, avocado, and bacon.

Loaded Veggie Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces of bread
  • ½ of an avocado
  • ½ of a lime
  • 2 slices of Munster cheese
  • 1 large tomato slices
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 Portobello mushroom
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • pinch salt and pepper
  • Butter
  • Tangy Clover and Broccoli Blend Rä Wild About Sprouts™

Instructions:

  • For the guacamole, scoop out avocado and add to bowl with salt and pepper. Mix together with the juice from the lime.
  • Next, thinly slice the onion. Heat the pan to medium-high with the olive oil, add the onion.
  • Next, remove the stem and brown scaly insides of the mushroom, and slice the mushrooms into long strips.
  • Add the mushroom slices to the pan along with another tablespoon of olive oil.
  • Finally, butter one side of each piece of bread. Add the guacamole, tomato slices, one slice of Munster cheese, onions, Tangy Clover and Broccoli Blend Rä Wild About Sprouts™, mushroom slices, and then the other slice of Munster cheese.
  • Grill the sandwich in the pan until one slice of bread is golden. Carefully, use a spatula to flip the sandwich, and cook the sandwich until the other slice of bread is also golden.

Green Goddess Veggie Sandwich

Ingredients:

Green Goddess Dressing:

  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • ½ cup mayo
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • ⅛ cup chopped tarragon
  • 3 tablespoons chopped chives
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • A pinch of salt and ground black pepper

Sandwich:

  • 2 carrots
  • 1 cucumber
  • 100% Crunchy Clover Rä Wild About Sprouts™
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
  • 1 large, ripe avocado
  • 6 slices bread, toasted (any type)

Instructions:

  • To make the dressing, combine the garlic, mayo, parsley, tarragon, chives, lemon juice, and salt and pepper into a blender. Blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth.
  • Shred the carrots and slice the cucumber into thin slices.
  • Spread 1 ounce of the softened goat cheese onto each slice of toasted bread.
  • Spread ¼ of the avocado onto each slice of the toasted bread.
  • Layer the vegetables, cucumbers, 100% Crunchy Clover Rä Wild About Sprouts™, and tomatoes between a slice of the goat cheese and a slice of the avocado bread. Drizzle with the green goddess dressing, salt, and freshly ground pepper. Serves 3.

Grilled Veggie and Hummus Pita

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium-sized pitas, halved
  • 1 green zucchini, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 yellow zucchini, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 small eggplant, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into wide strips
  • 1 cup hummus (can be any flavor)
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions:

  • Heat a pan to medium-high. Combine the olive oil with the vegetables and grill them until soft.
  • Season the vegetables with salt and pepper. Transfer cooked vegetables to a plate.
  • Slightly toast the pita bread, then spread the hummus inside each pita pocket.

Turkey & Cranberry Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices pumpernickel bread
  • 3 slices of brie (without the rind)
  • 3 slices turkey breast

Instructions:

  • Heat a pan to medium.
  • Butter one side of each piece of pumpernickel bread.

  • Place a slice of the bread on top with buttered side up, and grill in the pan until bread becomes golden. Flip sandwich and cook until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden.
