Nachos & Spicy Sprouts

Top your nachos with some Spicy Clover & Radish to add just a little extra kick.

Ingredients

Cheese Sause

  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 4 tbsp. flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 lb. cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. ancho chili powder
  • 2 chili’s in adobo sauce, finely chopped

Carne Asada

  • 1 lb. carne asada cut in thin strips
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. cumin
  • 2 tbsp. canola oil

Nacho Buffet

  • 1 3 oz. package Wild About Spouts
  • 1 large bag tortilla chips
  • 2 tomatoes finely diced
  • 3-4 jalapeno chili’s sliced
  • 1 red onion finely diced
  • 1 1/2 cups cilantro chopped
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 avocados chunked
  • 2 cups guacamole

Instructions

Cheese Sause

  1. In a large pan over medium heat melt the butter and add flour. Mix and simmer about 3 minutes.
  2. Pour in milk and simmer, add spices, chili’s and shredded cheese, stirring in until melted.
  3. Place on warming plate and serve.

Carne Asada

  1. Add canola oil to frying pan on high heat. Sear beef while adding cumin, salt and pepper.
  2. Transfer to serving plate and rest for 2-3 minutes.

Nacho Buffet

  1. Place each buffet ingredient in separate serving dishes. Place in buffet line with cheese sauce and carne asada.
  2. Stand back and let the fiesta feast begin as friends and family build their own nachos piled high with WAS Sprouts.
